The program “Empower Youth for Future Success in Ha Nam Province” aimed at equipping comprehensive skills including social, financial, employability and entrepreneurship skills to youth in Ha Nam province. In addition to this, crucial soft skills such as communication, teamwork, critical thinking, decision making and problem solving will also be emphasized. These skills are vital for boosting the confidence of young individuals as they enter the job market or embark on entrepreneurial ventures.
With the backing of the PepsiCo Foundation, the Program will be rolled out over a 12-month period, featuring numerous practical activities. Notably, 40 lecturers from vocational schools in Ha Nam province will undergo intensive training aligned with international standards. These lecturers will then impart their knowledge and skills to 1,000 students and 200 young people at vocational training centers. The training courses will be learner-centric, utilizing modern teaching methods and a variety of tools to maximize effectiveness. Upon completing the training, students and young people will have the opportunity to connect with local businesses at a large-scale Job Fair. Here, they can learn, be directly recruited, and participate in on-site training and sharing sessions, significantly enhancing their job prospects. Additionally, the Program will host a Startup Competition to attract innovative ideas and projects in the province’s key areas.
